Web Offset Press Operator Description: Experienced press operator needed to run two- to four-color web offset presses. Familiarity with Hantscho and American Web a plus. Hantscho presses are Mark II and Mark IV: Two and three color perfecting, 22 ¾” cut-off with 36” maximum roll width, automatic splicer, dryer, and double former folder with in line finishing systems for direct mail products. The American Web has four-color perfecting, 22 ¾” cut-off with 36” maximum roll width, automatic splicer, dryer, perforator unit, remoistenable glue applicator and sheeter. Shifts are rotating -- 3 days/12 hours. Requirements: Minimum 3 to 5 years experience. Tidewater Direct LLC is a supplier of direct mail letters, continuous forms, brochures, reply cards, lift notes, FSI’s, inserts and related products. The Regional Sales Rep must develop new accounts, encompassing both the direct mail and continuous forms print market. The regional sales representative will visit prospective accounts. Once established, will ensure that quality print services are provided on an ongoing basis. Other duties include participation in sales meetings and direct marketing shows. Since the sales representative will cover a regional territory, he/she will work from an office in his/her home in a Midwest state. Compensation includes base salary plus commission on gross sales.
